About Through the Valley
Healing rarely follows a straight path.
Whether you are walking through betrayal, relational pain, trauma, uncertainty, or simply a season that feels heavier than expected, our goal is to offer a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and move forward with greater clarity and hope. We also have a deep passion for integrating Christian faith and the truth of Scripture into the healing process for those who desire it, offering space to explore both emotional healing and spiritual growth.
At Through the Valley Counseling & Coaching, we believe support should meet you where you are. We offer both professional counseling and trauma-informed coaching, recognizing that while these approaches can complement one another, they serve different purposes in the healing process.
We offer in-person counseling and coaching in Murrysville/Export, Pennsylvania, along with Telehealth counseling for clients throughout Pennsylvania and virtual coaching for clients anywhere.
Payment and Insurance
❦
We want the process of accessing support to feel as straightforward as possible.
Counseling services may be covered by insurance, depending on your individual plan and the clinician you are seeing.
We currently accept:
Highmark · Aetna · Cigna · Carelon Behavioral Health · The Health Plan · Geisinger · Capital Blue Cross Pennsylvania
For clients with out-of-network benefits, Mentaya may help simplify the reimbursement process.
We also welcome self-pay clients and offer cash-pay rates for those who prefer not to use insurance or whose plan is not accepted.
Please keep in mind that insurance coverage, copays, deductibles, and eligibility vary by plan. We encourage clients to verify their individual benefits before beginning services.
Coaching is a non-clinical service and is not covered by health insurance. Self-pay rates apply to all coaching services.
Finding Support That Fits
You don’t have to know exactly what type of support you need before reaching out. Depending on your circumstances, needs, and goals, counseling, coaching, or a combination of both may be helpful.
